Metis is a browser extension that scans the current page for likely cost-risk patterns and presents local, directional insights.
Troubleshooting
Extension does not open
Make sure Metis is enabled in chrome://extensions and try refreshing the current page.
Scan does not run
Open the extension from the toolbar and run a basic scan again. Some browser pages, internal Chrome pages, and restricted sites cannot be scanned.
Side panel does not show
Open Metis from the toolbar again or refresh the page. If the side panel is disabled in your browser, use the popup or in-page report view.
Account connection does not work
Sign in at https://metis.zward.studio and use Connect extension from the account area. You can also start from the extension using Sign in / Connect account.
Magic link did not arrive
Check spam, confirm the email address, then request a new magic link.
Permissions
Basic scans work with user-triggered access. Deeper scan features may ask for additional site access so Metis can analyze more of the current site.
Beta note
Metis is currently in early release. Some beta features may change, be limited, or appear as preview surfaces.
